Halloween Makeup -

With Halloween fastly approaching the class decided to take a step back at designing our Elizabethan makeup looks and just have some fun creating and experimenting with some crazy Halloween makeup looks.

I decided i wanted to re create this design as i loved the theme colour of the blue as it was more colourful and different to many different designs which were more bloody and disastrous instead of creating a character.

My final outcome -

Here is my final outcome done on myself for the Halloween makeup. I am very pleased with the way this look has came out as i feel i have followed the original design well. I have contoured the cheeks, forehead and chin by using darker shades of blue onto the outsides of the face to highlight the jaw line and bring out natural shadows of the face. The most challenging bit about this design was making sure everything was symmetrical to the other side of face where everything was the same size and the blending the same as the other side, I love the way this design has came out as i feel that it works well with my natural eye colour instead of using contact lenses. If i were to do this look on halloween i would include gems, diamonds and sequins around the face to make this much more eye catching and bold.
