- Analogous colour wheel -
Analogous colour wheels are using the colours next to each of the wheel. As you can see green is the chosen colour within this wheel and the two colours on the side is what you would use to create an analogous design.

- Complementary colour wheel -
To find out which colour compliments each other you can look at the wheel to see which colour is opposite. When using complimentary colours in designing your outcomes are vibrant and bold. Within this picture you can see that green and red have been paired up with each other just like orange and blue.

- Achromatic colour wheel -
This colour scheme isn't colorful at all. It only consists of black, white and various shades of grey. Achromatic's definition is 'without colour'. Black and white don't get called colours instead they get called as shades.

- Monochromatic colour wheel -

Lastly we have Monochromatic. This is any shade, tint or colour of a hue. Monochromatic uses variations of lightness and saturation within a single colour such as red pictured above.
